You Have No. Idea. What This Feels Like.

“Hey, it’s okay. Calm down, Liam,” he soothed. “Calm down. Deep breaths.”

“Don’t tell me to calm down,” I snapped, whipping my shoulder to get his hand off me. “This isn’t happening to you! You don’t know what this feels like!”

Alastair paused, knowing I had him there. He didn’t’ know what I was feeling physically. Who knows how many people like me he’s dealt with? Maybe I’m the first one, because he

had this tone of worry to his voice. That only made me panic more.

“Tell me this is almost over!” I finally burst out, breaking the silence. “Tell me anything! Tell me… the sun is going to explode and the world is ending. Tell me… there’s nothing I can do about it, because… I swear to GOD, Alastair. If you tell me “it’s going to be okay” one more time… I will lose it! I can’t! I can’t take this anymore….!

And the everything went dark.
